Welcome to the Rame Roof Appeal.
Thirteenth Century St. Germanus Church is situated on the Rame Peninsular in South East Cornwall. Close to the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.
Rame Church ia a beautiful example of a traditional English parish church. Due to the churches' remote location on the Rame Peninsular it remains very original and has no water or electricity. The Church is famous for it's Candle-lit Carol Service which attracts visitors from europe!
This appeal has been set up to raise much needed funds to facilitate urgently needed repairs to the church roof. The roof is constructed with hand split Cornish Delabole slates, these slates are now slippingand falling off due to Nail Rot caused by the salt air blowing in from the nearby coast.
